Mystery Type

New project. To create a typeface based on the given letters above. Surely there will be many interpretations as for what the other letters will be. But there are useful clues to consider: serifs, the weight, the fact its italicized, etc.

Looking at other fonts, I tried to gleam information about how to construct the other letter. I considered calligraphy to be the most helpful due to its variation in stroke weight and its "look" of imitating the stokes of a pen nib somewhat.

Here's what I have in Illustrator so far:

Beauty in the Form

Lovely use of Persian topography by Reza Abedini. The form of the text is elegant and sophisticately composed in each poster.

In retrospect, considering my first re-contextualized poster, it could benefit from tighter composition of the letters (despite being derived from European/Greek alphabet)

Bit of inspiration

Wassily Kandinsky really knew how to create and balance an images with just lines, shapes, and forms. If letters can be broken up to such forms they too can be composed in a similar way.
