Just a few signs and posters found around town. This is for a class project where we have to deconstruct and re-contextualize "makeshift" signage, focusing on the shapes and curves of the typeface. Some are handmade and some are not but all have the quality of a kind of earnestness found outside of commercial gain. Though they lack sophistication, they are all interesting to look at (although intentions of some seem ironic or ambiguous more than serious). In these kind of signs, especially the handmade ones, the type of text can convey a lot information such as the character of the maker and their ambition.
